Beatrice Ring: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acC9ybDO_XE
I met Beatrice for dinner on 2/15/08. Her video is above. She was in a study for the new Gummy Bear silicone implants in October 2005 and got very sick from them. She is in the entertainment industry, a mother and is very passionate about warning other women of the dangers of breast implants, as I am. We had the chance to meet and discussed our stories and our emotional tolls. It was very nice to meet you Beatrice and I hope we can work together as "sisters" to continue to tell our stories to the women who deserve the truth. |

Colleen McKenzie: http://www.poisonedbeauty.com/
A woman about my age, who was bedridden for 4 YEARS, not knowing what was wrong with her. She found out she had silicone poisoning from her “safe” saline implants and is still on Social Security disability. She was the voice of hope and voice of reason for me when I felt desperate and confused because she had a lot of the very same decapitating memory loss problems as I did. Thank you for all of your support and love Colleen.

Katie Corr: a 23 year old woman who suffered chronic joint pain/ Fibro for 2 years before removing her saline implants. She used to work out 6 days a week and was very healthy before getting implants. She ended up having to see pain management doctors & most doctors thought she had tendonitis. She knew her debilitating joint pain in her elbows, shoulders and back could not have come out of nowhere. Katie was explanted in November of 2007 and is feeling so much better already. I am glad to have met Katie & wish her luck in the future and thank her for sharing her story.

Shari Halverson: http://humanticsfoundation.com/shari.htm
Featured on MTV’s “I Want a Famous Face 2”. She is still suffering from implant illness and now her breastfed son is very sick as well. I have tried to contact Shari and have had no luck. I post her story here because it helped me when I was sick to see other young women that were sick - to show me that my symptoms were real and that other women suffered like I did. I hope Shari is doing much better since explant.

Roz from NYC: The 1st woman I found online when I got sick who had experienced some of my initial problems. She is so brave and inspires me to take this one day at a time. She had smooth Mentor saline implants when she was 25 for 10 years - in '99 she started having tachyacardia, panic attacks, fatigue and body pain.
7 years passed and
she was functioning at about 50%. Aug. '06 came and she could barely stand up. Her doctor came up with a very high ANA which led her to a rheumotologist who told her it might be the implants. She went home and researched.. and like all of us, could not believe what she found.
By the time she got to surgery for removal her family thought she would die and took her to the ER . She had numbness on her entire left side of her body and face. Her scalp was on fire and her hair was falling out. Her implants came out BLACK and full of MOLD. Thank you Roz for giving me hope and praying for me. I hope you get better daily as well.

Patty Faucett: http://humanticsfoundation.com/patty.html
Founded the Yahoo Saline Support Group and has been a great support to me in this fight as well. She had a lot of the “brain fog” symptoms like I had, and was affected with those for several years before feeling better. Thank you for your long, helpful emails when I needed them Patty. I appreciate it so much.

Rosie: http://www.geocities.com/implantinfonet/saline2.html
She is a former dance instructor who got sick within the first 2 years of getting silicone implants in the 80's. She also had saline implants that deflated. Rosie lost her husband, her career and her health to this terrible sickness. She is a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 8. She has a great forum that I actually found in the midst of my sickness - a couple weeks after I got implants. As I post her story here today, it has been 1 year since I got implants, and I now can post my story on her site. Thanks for inspiring me Rosie, to put one more true story about implant illness on the internet to help people with.

Krista Schell: http://www.humanticsfoundation.com/krista.htm
A woman I met via my website, close to my age and who got sick from her saline implants. She suffers the very bad fatigue that I also suffer. She had a big hole in her implant and has been diagnosed with stage 2 hypertension, fibromyalgia, lymphadenitis, chronic fatigue syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, anemia, systemic candidiasis, generalized anxiety disorder and symptoms for autoimmune diseases. Check out the great site that she and a few other sick women created - I am featured on this site http://www.truthaboutbreastimplants.com/ and this is on my links page as well. Krista was also featured in an article in the NY Times - Click Here.
Good to meet you Krista - I hope that together we can have a voice and make a difference.

Beth Taylor: http://www.toxicbreastimplants.org/index.htm
Here is a photo of Beth - a brave, proactive woman who is very involved in the website she created to help women sick from implants. The other is her moldy saline implant. Her list of symptoms was the 1st I related to and printed out to bring to my doctor. My doctor still didn’t believe me, but I know that after all I have been through, the next time someone brings that list to her, she will try to help them. Thank you Beth for being positive when I was so low.

Rogene Schorer: http://www.humanticsfoundation.com/rogene.htm
Another brave woman I met online - Rogene is a part of the Saline Support site, as well as a site for kids who are affected by the chemicals in their mothers' implants. She had the memory problems I had, along with a lot of joint and muscle pains. 16 years later she had her implants removed and was able to return to work. Thanks for helping women like me Rogene, and for all that you do. |

Sandy: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/SalineSupport/message/108537
A mom who used to work 3 jobs before she got saline implants. Her six-year old son took care of her at times. She is now partially crippled and gained 60 lbs and almost 10 sizes from this sickness. She dedicates a lot of her time to the saline support site I met her on and I hope she continues to do so.

Jeena: http://members.tripod.com/jeena3/index.html
Her story can be found under "Stories" on the site she moderates at, Explantation.com. She had silicone implants put in & almost immediately had to have them moved down because they sat too high. She had heart problems and flu-like symptoms, along with severe body pain. She had nercrosis, which is a hole, in her breast. Jeena, I hope your site helps many women who are sick like you were. |

Lisa Christina: http://www.geocities.com/implantinfonet/lisachristine.html
I just met this woman & am surprised how many similar symptoms we had - and she had her implants for 20 years - including skin irritations, pain, chills, dizziness, blurred vision, fatigue, anxiety and depression. She traveled 12 hours to see a good explanting surgeon. She even has photos here of before and after her explant surgery! Thank you Lisa!
